Review by hotel critic
The hotel’s onsen proved to be a true haven, perfect for unwinding after thrilling days on the slopes. Its location couldn't be better, just a short walk from the Happo-One Ski Resort, making our mornings convenient and exciting. The exceptional service truly stood out, with staff going above and beyond, especially a young gentleman at the ski rental facility who ensured we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the charming restaurant, Chamonix, where we indulged in delightful French cuisine while soaking in the picturesque mountain vistas. Whether you're a skier or someone looking to relax and enjoy the Japanese culture, this hotel offers something for everyone, including easy access to local restaurants and recreational activities. As an environmental scientist, I couldn't help but admire the blend of luxury and sustainability I observed throughout my stay. Hakuba Tokyu Hotel beautifully interlaces its amenities with the natural beauty of the area, and I look forward to sharing this gem with fellow eco-conscious travelers.
